Turbinate Somnoplasty (Somnoplasty)

Radiofrequency energy can be implemented to treat chronic nasal congestion by preeminently reducing airway obstructions. Turbinates are structures in the nasal passage that filter, humidify, and warm the air before it reaches the lungs. When these become enlarged due to chronic allergies or congestion, they can be reduced in a short in-office procedure using only a local anesthetic. This safe and effective treatment carries minimal risk and few activity limitations are required in the post-treatment period.

Septoplasty (Deviated Septum Repair)

This minor surgical procedure straightens and repositions the septum to the middle of the nose, separating the two nasal cavities. To relieve blockage of the nasal breathing passageways, typically this procedure is performed in conjunction with Turbinoplasty (see below).

Turbinoplasty (Nasal Surgery)

This in office procedure reduces and corrects nasal turbinate enlargement caused by persistent nasal allergies and congestion or a deviated septum. (See also Turbinate Somnoplasty above).
